Buying a new home (for the first or fifth time) is a huge commitment! Although New York State does not require a home inspection before purchasing a new property, it’s an important step in the buyer process to ensure you are aware of what you are paying for - the good, the bad, and the ugly. It’s easy to fall in love with a home at a glance, but a first or even second look doesn’t give you a good idea of the potential problems a house could be hiding.

A general home inspection is considered a non-invasive, visual examination of a property. A great home inspection will focus on the entire house including the attic, basement, bathrooms, kitchen, ceilings, floors, windows, doors, electrical systems, heating/cooling systems, plumbing, insulation/ventilation, crawl space, and foundation.
