Jen & Bill
Jen Gienau and Bill Struss are ready to serve clients for home inspections all over Long Island. Jen and Bill met as college freshmen at ESF in Syracuse and they’ve been inseparable for the last 10+ years. Jen has lived on Long Island for her whole life and Bill made the move in 2017 so that they didn’t need to keep doing long distance. They bought a home together in Patchogue Village over 3 years ago and are still transforming it into their dream home. They’ve learned a lot during the process (e.g. re-framing floors, insulating walls, pouring concrete, installing LVP, painting, electrical work, and more!) and decided to become home inspectors and pass on the knowledge to other Long Islanders buying their first (or second or third) homes! They completed formal education with the American Real Estate School and combined with the personal hands-on experience, this allows them to provide the best home inspections around.
In her spare time, Jen loves to run, play board games, and eat cheese paired with some nice wine. Bill also loves running, but prefers a good book to board games and enjoys sipping gin and tonics on the back porch. They love spending time together with Melody and Kit and together are an unstoppable team.

Melody is the brains behind the operation of the JB Home Inspection team and is known for her passion for playing with anything but a real toy and and being pet exclusively on bathroom shower rugs.
Kit
The newest addition to the JB Home Inspections team! Kit brings an abundant amount of energy and love to everyone he meets. He looks up to his older sister Melody, hoping to follow in their paw steps.
